Mayorkun: “I broke up with my girlfriend before I got signed’ Singer Debunks ‘Sade’ Rumor

Mayorkun is saying he had no special person in mind when he wrote his new hit song ‘Sade’

The Davido Music Worldwide signed artiste, Mayorkun, said he was single when he wrote the song ‘Sade’.

The ‘Eleko’ crooner, stated that  at the time he signed his record deal, he already broke up with his girlfriend just two months earlier.

“I broke up with my girlfriend like two months before I got signed because of my bank job. I was too occupied and I didn’t have time for the girl.”
“It wasn’t like I had one babe that inspired the song. Most times, I like to sing about my personal experiences but that Sade is fiction from a freestyle. Maybe some of the verses were personal stuff but generally, I don’t have any Sade. I’m still looking for my Sade though,” he told Planet Tv.
