Ayo Jay shares on competition with wizkid and davido

US-Based superstar, Ayo Jay had reason to celebrate when his song went Gold in the USA this year. That track was “Your Number” which saw him rise up the ranks to be identified as one of the biggest Nigerian artists in mainstream music at the moment.

Naturally, people would take this to mean that he’s fighting with other Nigerian artists like Davido and Wizkid. Add this to the fact that they are all signed to the same label and you have all the ingredients needed for a fake media beef.

However, Ayo Jay says there’s no bad blood between any of them and that all three artists are simply working hard to see their music heard all over the world.

“I’m in my own lane kind of, I’m the only one doing my own kind of thing, there really is no competition, we are just Africans doing big things out here, so it’s different lanes, different energies,”
