Update on Borno Governor Convoy's Attack

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack on the convoy of Borno State Governor Kassim Shettima’s yesterday February 13th. Governor Shettima was on his way to a rally in Yobe state when the sect members openned fire on his convoy, killing three persons.
The sect in a statement released on its Amaq news agency, claimed 42 people were killed in Tuesday’s attack on Borno state’s governor. However, government officials that spoke with Reuters said between three and 10 people were killed, and that some of them may have been beheaded.
